I think that children have the right to live and eat food, which is why the nonprofit that I'm raising money for is Oxfam America. They are an excellent nonprofit organization that does lots of great work helping people who are poor. Click the link on this page for more information about them. I'm very excited to start my fundraiser on November 10th. As most of you know, doing this is going to be kind of a challenge for me. Hi everyone, I have now officially completed my fundraiser and am happy to say that it was a success. And it was also a wonderful and delightful experience for me. I'm so glad that I decided to do it.
Fortunately, I surpassed my goal of raising $1,200 for Oxfam International with a total of $1,320 for that nonprofit, and I'm super thankful to everyone who helped. I appreciate the donations from everyone who donated, and the encouragement from everyone. I couldn't have done it without all of you.

This Sunday I have reached the 3/4 mark of my fundraiser, and I'm starting to head into the home stretch of it. I look forward to doing some more in the coming days. Several days ago my good friend Elizabeth who I went to college with gave me an excellent pep talk.
She reminded me of the people who this fundraiser is going to help, and that gave me a nice boost to keep pushing through to complete it. Sometimes a little reminder of the bigger purpose of what we're doing is a help. I've got some good steam going now and confident I'll complete it.
